Fun at the Jazz Game

Alison had the chance to dance at the pregame for the Jazz vs. Bucks last night. So, the whole family went to the game early and we had a fun time. We did learn, however, that the Energy Solutions Arena has some seriously strict regulations that they aren't willing to budge. Example A: We were told to arrive at the ticket lobby at exactly 5:30 with dancers in costume and makeup, ready to walk on the floor. We got to the arena at about 5:10, and, naturally, having consumed lots of beverages on the way down, the first place we headed was the bathroom (with Ali obediently in her costume, I might add). In order to get to the bathroom from the ticket office, we had to pass the "gatekeeper" to the VIP area. She asked if she could help us, and we kindly informed her we were looking for the bathroom. She then took one look at Ali and said "Are you going to change into a costume?" Pause and rewind. Did I mention Ali was already wearing her costume? Anyway, I explained to the Bathroom Nazi that all she had left to change was socks and shoes, and we would be glad to take care of that in the lobby area if she would just let us pass. Thankfully, she granted permission. Another little girl was not so lucky. Her mother didn't follow directions and she got the unfortunate opportunity of changing into her costume in a corner. Good thing we follow directions! The show eventually went on at 6:30, and Ali did a great job. It was fun to watch her performing on the Jazz floor.

2 people had this to say::
I wish I could have seen you dance, Ali. I heard you did a great job (at least according to a dance expert, Dianne K.) It sounds like you all had a fun experience there.
That looks like it was so much fun! Which one is Ali?
