Future Philanthropist?
This afternoon as I was dropping Jessi off at preschool, I realized I hadn't made a payment for April's tuition. So I asked Jessi to wait just a second while I wrote a check to send in with her. When I got out the checkbook and turned to the next blank check, this is what I found:
Obviously, that is not Ali's handwriting. And obviously, it is not anyone's over the age of 5. So I asked Jessi if she knew what it was. She first denied knowing anything about it and then admitted that she wanted to give Ali $7.00. I thought that was pretty generous considering she could have written the check out to herself. And why $7.00? Your guess is as good as mine. I'm going to have to guard my purse a little more closely from now on.

That is adorable! If she's making donations, I'll get in line. Of course, it's not really her money to donate, but I've always considered you a generous person! ;o)
That is so funny! I remember taking a blank check book to my babysitter's house and wondering why she freaked out over a "note pad."
Jessi is obviously much smarter than I was.
That was so cute and funny--I laughed out loud.
That is hilarious!
That made me laugh!! She can fill out a check better than a lot of customers at the bank:) Did you ever give Ali the money?
Very funny! (and cute)
Maybe you should talk to Jessi about the difference between $7 and $7,000.
That is too funny!
You had better keep an eye on her. That is really funny!
