Apple Days Parade

Jessi got to ride her new bike in the Apple Days Children's Parade on September 6th. She got the bike for her birthday, and practiced riding it a little bit before the parade. She did a great job, and it was fun to watch her ride by. We watched the beginning of the parade, and then ran to the end of the route to see her ride by twice. Since Sean is a child at heart, he walked along the parade route with her.

Ali took these pictures of the parade since at the time I was being wrangled into being a good citizen (of River Heights, that is) by putting a vase of flowers on the announcer's table. It seems that is a job that only a River Heights citizen can do.
