Hero For A Day

Last week, we noticed Jasmine spending extra time outside near the corner of our deck. She was always wandering in the same area and sniffing like crazy. When Sean inspected a little more closely to see what was so interesting, he found that we had a gas leak. Our meter is just below the deck, and Jasmine apparently liked (or disliked) the smell that wafted up through the deck. Anyway, we called the gas company and they were here within a few minutes to check out the problem. The gas man fixed the leak, and our dog is now a hero. Maybe we should rename her Lassie? Just another good reason to have a dog. (And don't worry, she is just sleeping in this picture. She did not pass out from the gas fumes.)
